Rezidora (“we”, “us”) runs rezidora.com, a marketplace and journal for real estate, cars, yachts, jets, watches and jewelry. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Rezidora, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and only if you allow it.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account. Your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form by our authentication provider; we can never see them. You can add your name and phone number to your profile.
When you sign in with Google, Apple or LinkedIn. That service tells us your name, your email address and, if it shares one, your profile photo. We never receive your password for that service. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email”, we receive a private relay address from Apple instead of your real one, and our emails reach you through Apple. If you sign in with a service that uses the same email address as an existing Rezidora account, both sign-in methods open that one account.
As you use your account. The listings you save, the searches you save and how often you want alerts for them, and your enquiries.
When you make an enquiry. Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your message, and the listing it is about.
Professional accounts. For brokerages, dealers, brokers and independent professionals: business name, contact details, website and description; your team members’ names, titles, licence numbers and photos, and which of them appear publicly; the listings you publish; and API keys, which we store only in a scrambled form.
Listings from partner feeds. Some professionals send their listings to us automatically from their own systems. These can include the listing agent’s name and email address. We show the agent’s name on the listing; the email address is never shown publicly. Where a seller chooses not to publish a property’s street address, we show only an approximate area on the map.
Technical information. Like any website, our hosting and database providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the service secure and working.
Analytics, if you allow it. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site: pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and interactions such as searches and enquiries sent. It uses a random identifier stored in a cookie, not your name or email address. If you decline, Google Analytics does not set cookies or collect this.
2. How we use it
- To run your account, keep you signed in, and show your saved listings and searches.
- To deliver your enquiries to the right seller and agent.
- To send emails you ask for or that your account needs: sign-in links, account confirmations, enquiry notifications, and alerts for your saved searches.
- To publish listings and professional profiles on the marketplace.
- To keep Rezidora secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- With your consent, to measure how the site is used in aggregate (which pages and listings people visit, where they come from) so we can improve it.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
- Sellers you contact. When you send an enquiry, your name, email address, phone number (if given) and message go to the professional or private seller offering that listing, and to the listing agent where there is one, so they can reply to you directly. They handle it under their own privacy practices.
- The public. Professionals’ business details, listings, and the names and profiles of team members who choose to appear publicly are shown on the site.
- Service providers who run parts of Rezidora for us and may only use the data to do so:
- Supabase, for our database, accounts and sign-in, and file storage (servers in the United States);
- Vercel, for hosting the website;
- Resend, for sending email;
- Mapbox, for maps — your browser loads map images directly from Mapbox, which therefore receives your IP address;
- Google Analytics (Google LLC), for site statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies;
- Google, Apple and LinkedIn, only if you choose them to sign in.
- Listing photos. Some photos load directly from the servers of the professional or partner who supplied the listing, which receive your IP address like any website you visit.
- Legal reasons. If required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or Rezidora.
- Business changes. If Rezidora is merged, acquired or sells its assets, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
4. Cookies and storage on your device
Essential cookies keep you signed in and secure sign-in. They are always on, because the site cannot work without them. Your browser also remembers your cookie choice on your device, so we don’t ask again on every visit.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, named _ga and _ga_…, lasting up to two years) are set only if you click “Accept” on our cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; declining stops new collection and we stop setting those cookies. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not use advertising cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. When you delete your account from your profile, your account, saved listings, saved searches and team memberships are removed straight away; if you ask us by email instead, we do it within 30 days. We may keep what the law requires, or what we need to resolve disputes and prevent fraud. Enquiries you have sent remain with the sellers who received them. Listings removed from the marketplace may be kept in our records but are no longer shown. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
6. Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile, saved listings and saved searches in your account.
- Change how often you receive search alerts, or stop them, from Saved searches or the link in any alert email.
- Delete your account at any time from your profile.
- Accept or decline analytics cookies, and change your mind later, with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, or to receive it in a portable format, by writing to support@rezidora.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have further rights, including to object to or restrict certain uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
7. International transfers
Our main providers store data in the United States. If you use Rezidora from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, with the safeguards our providers offer for such transfers.
8. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections, access controls that limit each account to its own data, and scrambled storage of passwords and API keys. No service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
9. Children
Rezidora is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or on the site before it takes effect.
